One of the first things you will notice about Floor Manager in AECOsim Building Designer SS4 are the addition of Project and Site levels to the Tree view:

These provide places to input/store data used downstream by IFC and COBie.
Additional properties are also available for Buildings and Floors/Reference Planes. They are listed in this PDF Floor Manager IFC and COBie Dataset Extensions which will give a clear idea of the changes.
The properties made available vary depending on the state of the IFC_PROJECT variable in the site configuration or project configuration file which specifies whether the dataset is extended to include IFC or IFC and COBie.
- When set to 0, the dataset is not extended.
- When set to 1, the dataset is extended with IFC 2x3 property sets.
- When set to 2, the dataset is extended with IFC 2x3 and Facilities Management Handover (COBie) property sets.
