With The Bentley LEARNing Conference coming soon, the ProjectWise Track has been expanded to include new sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as well as a couple of encores for workshops that had already reached capacity. Wednesday | Bentley Transmittal Services | Attendees to this session will learn about the capabilities of Bentley Transmittal Services. Learn how to create a transmittal process that is much easier and more efficient for organizations using ProjectWise. |
Wednesday | Building a Global ProjectWise Platform | With 7,000 employees in 10 countries across four continents, Aurecon embarked on a program to build a global ProjectWise platform. In this session, participants will learn how to work within the business IT and delivery groups and with Bentley to design and deploy an implementation. Participants will also learn about the process from pilot to production and how the various stakeholders can be brought together to build the platform. Other topics include system architecture, including cloud-based solutions, business-process implementation, and change management. |
Wednesday | ProjectWise Import/Export | In this session, ProjectWise administrators learn the best techniques for importing documents and their attributes into ProjectWise to help them more effectively manage documents. They also learn how to create lookup tables for a ProjectWise environment, along with other administrative tips. |

Wednesday | Utilizing Bentley Transmittal Services to Extend ProjectWise | Learn how DPR Construction implemented Bentley Transmittal Services to simplify collaboration while maintaining the unparalleled security and audit controls of ProjectWise. Participants learn about the typical transmittal purposes and evaluation of the features based on how transmittals have worked for DPR and its design partners. |

Thursday | Best Practices for Backup and Archiving | Learn how to build the best strategy for backing up and archiving data using ProjectWise. You will learn different techniques to backup and archive data, metadata, and projects more efficiently. Attendees will learn how to use different techniques for various scenarios backing up data on tape, disk, through virtualization, or cloud services. |
Thursday | Working With Document Codes | In this lecture participants will learn how to define, configure, and enhance ProjectWise document codes. They will be able to automate document codes to minimize user input and error. Participants will also learn how to use default values, project variables, and SQL statements to populate individual code attributes, as well as ProjectWise controlled lookup tables to populate user pick lists where the values cannot be automatically set. |
