Where are my custom filters stored?
In the current version of AECOsim Building Designer custom filters are stored in the default location:
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\AECOsimBuildingDesigner V8i Ss6\WorkSpace\BuildingDatasets\Dataset_<region>\datagroupsystem
To make them available to all users or to a project some work with xml is required. Open these xml files in an editor such as Notepad++ and look for the new section created with the 'My Items' name.
Copy the files containing 'My Items' to a company location, e.g. W:\SS6\Dataset_Company\datagroupsystem. Do not rename the files! The names of the company or project files need to be the same as the originals.
Delete the custom content from the original file, and the standard content from the company copy. The custom file will look something like this
We hope to add a UI control for the location of custom filters in a future release.
