We recently identified some important issues in the Substructure module of the market version 18.02.01.06 of LEAP Bridge Concrete CONNECT Edition. The details of the issues are listed as shown below. We have fixed those issues in the maintenance 2 (18.02.02.03).
- Incorrect results were reported in the envelopes of the Limit Sates under the Analysis tab only when the option “Use concurrent shear and torsion” was selected in the A/D Parameters dialog.
- The required steel reinforcement of the flexure design was incorrectly calculated for pier cap only when the option “Use concurrent shear and torsion” was selected in the A/D Parameters dialog.
- Shear resistance Vs of transverse reinforcement was incorrect in the pier cap’s shear design report when the option “Shear force is equally distributed among stirrups” was selected in the A/D Parameters dialog.
CONNECT Licensing
This product version utilizes CONNECT Licensing, which is not supported by SELECT activation key(s). <a href=https://communities.bentley.com/products/licensing/w/licensing__wiki/37813/connect-licensing target=_blank>CONNECT Licensing</a> features new behavior to enhance your organization’s user administration and security with mandatory user sign-in via CONNECTION Client to access the application. If you are already signed in to the CONNECTION Client, you have met this prerequisite.
